I wanted to share a small check-in, and something that comes up often in my work.

Sometimes life can feel… manageable.

You’re getting through the day. You’re doing what needs to be done.

From the outside, things may even look okay.

But underneath that, something doesn’t quite feel right.

A sense of pressure.Low-level anxiety.Feeling disconnected or stuck.

And it can be hard to know what to do with that - especially when nothing feels “serious enough” to justify asking for support.

But in my experience, these are often the moments where having space to talk can be most helpful.

You don’t have to wait for things to get worse to reach out.

Therapy can offer a place to pause, reflect, and make sense of what’s going on - at your own pace.

If this resonates with you, you might take a few moments to gently check in with yourself:

  • How have I really been feeling lately?

  • What feels heavy, even if I’ve been managing it?

  • What might I need more of right now?

There’s no pressure to have all the answers, sometimes just noticing is a meaningful first step.

As always, if you feel you’d benefit from some support, whether that’s returning to therapy or starting for the first time, you’re very welcome to get in touch.

I’ve also recently updated my website and expanded my work to support both individuals and organisations with employee wellbeing.

Take care,

Marie
